Seaway7 Sponsors Offshore Site Investigation and Geotechnics Conference (OSIG)

Seaway7 is pleased to be a main sponsor at the highly anticipated 9th International Offshore Site Investigation and Geotechnics Conference (OSIG) taking place in London this week.

The sold-out event, organised by the Society for Underwater Technology, is the longest standing international conference series of this type and has significantly grown this year. It brings together the offshore Geotechnical, Geophysical and Geoscientific industry, and academic communities to share the latest research, knowledge and experience.

The conference includes 10 Keynote Addresses, 22 conference sessions and 250 conference papers, with 35 countries represented as well as 47 Universities.

Seaway7 will be delivering 15 conference papers, alongside colleagues from parent company Subsea7. Eleni Stathopoulou, Seabed Intervention Manager at Seaway7 and Hannah Smith, Geotechnical Engineer Level II at Subsea7 will each chair conference sessions.

Conference chairs are seasoned industry professionals and academics, whilst Co-Chairs are largely newer to the work, providing opportunities to gain experience and elevate exposure.

Seaway7 is also delighted to have also donated two corporate tables at the conference dinner, to be held at the Natural History Museum, to student helpers and student poster competition finalists.
